Loren recently joined Internet Archive Canada as Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives Lead. Loren has worked on initiatives and projects in the GLAM sector to foster equitable participation in and provide greater access and discovery of our shared digital cultural heritage. Her background includes developing the first iterations of online access to archival collections, as well as integrated portals to GLAM digital collections, newspapers and government documents in Ontario.

Steve Marks is the Digital Preservation Librarian at the University of Toronto Libraries, where he’s responsible for the overall care and feeding of the Libraries’ digital objects. Steve’s current projects include a large-scale digitization of Canadian Federal and Ontario Provincial government publications from the UTL collection, investigations around national data storage infrastructure, and continued development on UTL’s digital preservation systems.

Sarah is the General Research Collections Manager at the Cleveland Public Library. In that role, she oversees the Science & Technology, Social Science, Business, and Government Documents departments. She also serves as coordinator for the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). Over the last few years Sarah has presented at the FDLP Annual Conference and the Special Library Association (SLA) annual conference, given webinars for FDLP, and recently started teaching Government Information Sources and Services at Kent State University's iSchool. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University and Masters of Library and Information Science from Kent State University. When she's not running around the various library departments, you can find Sarah at home with a big orange cat in her lap and a video controller in her hand.

Jennifer is the Instruction and Engagement Librarian at Tennessee State University (an HBCU), and is the University Libraries' Federal Depository Library Program coordinator. She is the managing editor of Documents to the People, the Government Documents Round Table’s (GODORT) single-blind publication. She is also a member of the ACRL Public, Policy, and International Relations section, and has served as a newsletter editor and on the Communication and Publications Committee where she serving as the 2022-23 chair. She was recently named a 2023 ALA Emerging Scholar. Her research interests include visual resources, information literacy and instruction, and the practical uses of government information.

Dr. Alistair Edgar is Associate Professor of Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University, with cross-appointment to the Balsillie School of International Affairs. He is an editor of Global Governance: A Review of Multilateralism and International Organizations (Brill/Nijhoff) and series co-editor for the ACUNS Series on the United Nations (Edward Elgar Publishers) and is a member of the Governing Council of the International Studies Association. He served as Executive Director of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) in 2003-2008 and 2010-2018. Outside of his scholarly activities, he is President of the Canadian Landmine Foundation.

Hailing from Nova Scotia, Lacey Cain received her MLIS in 2013 and has been delving into data ever since! She’s had an eclectic past working as an Archival Cataloguer with Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, briefly as a Digital Librarian with CBC, and then spent a number of years in data management, integrity and analysis in various capacities in Advancement fundraising at Dalhousie University. She landed in Carleton University’s MacOdrum Library in late 2021 as a Data Support Specialist and has since supported the Carleton community in creating, accessing, analyzing, preserving, and publishing data. She also often collaborates with the fantastic data community on numerous projects and working groups.
